ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:

Julia Linsteadt (she/her) writes and creates about growing a garden, cooking from the garden, making and learning about herbs, and creating textile art inspired by the garden and nature. She facilitates workshops and group gatherings both virtually and in person, and she is the creator of the website www.afarmtokeep.com where she writes about natural homemaking, herbalism, from-scratch cooking, and living a handmade life. She is a long-time small business owner and seasoned arts educator who, through her subscription box company, served thousands of families with unique literature-based art experiences every month from 2017-2022. She is happiest when she teaches and helps others discover their deepest joy. Her work has been featured in Willow & Sage magazine, Willow & Sage's Natural Home Special editions, and she is a regular contributing editor for the digital online magazine, Botanical Anthology. She resides in the foothills of Northern California with her family where she homesteads, grows a kitchen and medicinal herb garden, raises  Nigerian Dwarf -goats Peanut Butter and Jelly, and begins every day with a cup of Jasmine green tea.
